PTM 7 - 11 July 2025

The 9th International Conference on Solid-Solid Phase Transformations in Inorganic Materials will be held in Delft, Netherlands.

The scientific scope of PTM2025 covers all crucial aspects of microstructure control of inorganic materials.

  • Materials: ferrous alloys, non-ferrous alloys, equi-atomic, multicomponent alloys / high entropy alloys, non-metallic materials and others

  • Processing: thermomechanical treatments, Additive Manufacturing, plastic deformation, welding and others

  • Microstructure evolution: solidification, solid-state precipitation, diffusional solid-state phase transformations, displacive solid-state phase transformations and others

  • Research methods: atomic-scale structure characterisation, microstructure characterisation, property characterisation, atomic-scale transformation modelling, micro-scale transformation modelling, multi-scale transformation modelling, microstructure-property modelling and others

  • Societal context: sustainable production of materials, hydrogen-related applications, sustainable energy, mobility, infrastructure, education and others
